Overview:

Son Parc is a purpose-built, low-density, low-key resort with many private villas and apartments, situated on the North coast of Menorca and is popular with families looking for a relaxing beach holiday and with golfers.  Coastal and rural surroundings are quite pleasant, but there is nothing here of great interest other than the beach. The beach, which is fairly large, is perfect for children as it shelves gently into shallow waters.

Son Parc is popular too for those who enjoy watersports.  Pedaloes, small motor boats, jet skis and windsurfing are all on offer. Son Parc also boasts Menorca's only 9 hole golf course, complete with floodlit driving range. The golf course also has a club house with restaurant and bar for meals, snacks and drinks. Tee times can be booked in advance and tennis courts are also available at the club.

Locality:

Son Parc is situated on the North coast of Menorca, 16 mls from the airport.

Entertainment/Facilities/Attractions/Things to do:

Son Parc is predominantly a family resort with the accent on beach and poolside relaxation. The beach here is very good and safe, wide beach of golden sand, with dunes behind. Pedalloes, windsurfers for hire. The area has around three supermarkets and a couple of souvenir shops. Nightlife is very limited, though the hub of activity is at hotel Sol Parc, and Wilsons bar. Do not travel with expectations of glamorous nightlife. Excursions tend to be shopping and sightseeing in Mahon and Ciudadela; cruises to picturesque coves; ascend the hill of El Toro for views; nearby fishing village of Fornells.
